I'm Steve Williams, a founder and portfolio manager at Barras Capital Management plc with specific responsibility for asset allocation. I have more than 25 years experience in portfolio management and have served in an independent capacity on a large number of investment committees during that time.

The purpose of this site

This site is intended for use by investment professionals. I think of it as a platform for me to share my thoughts on the issues that affect my asset allocation decisions and that I hope will prove useful to others engaged in similar work.
